Separate the exhibition car from the factory examples

Porsche’s 2022 colour exhibition includes a modified 1988 911 repainted in Rubystar; it is not evidence of a factory 1988 colour offering. The same article documents Rubystar’s 2022 Taycan revival. For Ultraviolet, Porsche’s Dutch March 2015 GT3 RS announcement says metallic, as does Sherwin-Williams’ 2016 LM4A entry. Those are the finish labels of these checked sources; earlier conflicting catalogue wording is not silently resolved for every application.
